Add video support to the gallery#77

The option to add videos as well as images would be good.

Thank you for your suggestion. Whilst we could add video suppor to the platform it might be a bit cost prohibitive for us for now.

Hosting and streaming video is expensive.

That being said we will have a conversation about this internally and work out what we can do. Perhaps we can find a way for people to reference videos hosted elsewhere, like YouTube of Vimeo in the meantime.

Now that you say that it makes perfect sense actually to just link to whatever platform it’s already hosted on. Happy for you to remove the suggestion based on that actually. Thanks for the response even though I’m sure it’s something you’d already considered.

Not at all, its still very helpful to have people submit requests for things we have already considered as it helps us garner demand for a feature. We then can use that to decide on what to build next!

I’ll definitely leave this feature as a request for adding video support in one form or another so others can vote on it if it’s important to them too!
