More accurate model name - or add variant#66

My car isn’t a Land Cruiser, it’s a Land Cruiser Amazon J100. Can you accommodate this some way by perhaps adding a model variant/edition option so I could add “Amazon J100”

Thanks for getting in touch. We’ve gone back and forth on how best to communicate trims and skews of specific models and currently we deal with it in the following way.

For now I’d recommend adding it as a custom Model. The platform lets people add whatever Model they want to a Make (see picture).

The process internally about how this works is as follows:

• We have a verified and connected list of all Makes their Models their Years. This is what appears in the dropdowns when you select a Make and then a Model.
• We allow users to add new Models which aren’t listed which can be named whatever they want. This is where I’d recommend adding your Land Cuiser Amazon J100
• We internally then review all the custom Models added to Makes and verify them / merge them with other custom Models which are the same (e.g Land Cruiser - Amazon J100 and Land Cuiser Amazon J100)
• If verified then the new Model will become available to other users on the platform in the dropdown.

Does that make sense and does adding a custom Model make sense? If you need any more support or I’ve missed the point please let us know!
