Export from the Custodian app in PDF format in a nice template that could be useful when selling a vehicle.

Hi Kevin we do indeed plan to do this. In the meantime (sooner) we’re looking to add support for people to put their cars ‘On Display’ which will give them a unique URL they can use to share the car with other people.
There’s a lot of request for export/sharing, and you can see some of the suggestions from others in here if you’re interested. (see the On Display feedback and the feedback merged into it)
I’ll keep this suggestion separate as it’s specifically asking for PDF export (hard copy).
Thanks for contributing!

Just suggested this and saw this. This would be fantastic - I’ve always wanted to put together a fancy ring under with the cars history but found the app instead. But it would be super cool to have this

Just seen this after commenting on another post - would be really handy when it comes to sell your car to have a summary sheet in printable PDF format like this

I’d really appreciate this functionality.
Need this in 2024!!

We’re doing a whole bunch of work with PDF generation in the coming weeks. It’s mostly for our insurance product (do get in touch if you’d like Custodian Insurance), but its a great opportunity for us to get the first version of this in for everyone as well since the engineering work is very similar!
Just keeping you all in the loop and hopefully I’ll have some screenshots for you all soon!
God speed Jeremy, god speed

Hi All, thank you so much for your patience while we’ve been getting to this!
I’m thrilled to let you know that PDF exports, one of our most requested features, are now live on Custodian.
You can now instantly generate a high-quality, professionally formatted PDF of your car’s profile directly from your digital garage. Whether you’d like to print it for your coffee table, share it with a potential buyer, or as a sweet addition to your car’s physical history file, this one’s for you.
What’s included in your document:
All the information and images are synced from your car’s profile — including the description, key moments and facts, technical specifications, and history files. Everything is cleanly formatted and ready to print or share.
To give it a try, open the menu button on your car’s profile (top right of the screen) and select ‘Export PDF’ to start the export. You’ll get an email shortly afterwards with a link to download your freshly generated document. It normally takes less than 10 seconds, depending on the amount of content you’ve recorded on the platform.
Quick tip: The more complete your car and its digital history file is, the better your PDF will look. Do make sure it’s up to date!
Please see the screenshots attached for a quick preview too.
