The ability to transfer ownership of cars, through either converting all of the history to a printable pdf or email documnent or sending a secure link to the account. Futhermore the ability to temporaily share history and details. Think you’re selling your car on auto trader. The buyer calls “hey mate you got any history or documents of the car”, you reply “yes pal, i’ll send you a secure tempory link through custodian this protects the orginal documents and doesn’t potentially lead to fraud from addresses and personal data” the buyer replies “perfect mate thank you, i feel a lot more comfortable with that rather than blury images sent of the history”
Obviously through this feature, the account holder on custodian has the ability to choose what infomation is shared…. ie, not the invoices, or the costs or the tinkering labels for example

Thank you very much for the detailed suggestion.
We believe the the suggestions you’ve made are already planned features for the platform which is really exciting for us!
We plan on adding support for the following:
A way to export your cars history in a portable format (maybe PDF) outside of the Custodian platform for those who’d like to have a physical backup and/or want to use services which aren’t able to integrate with our platform.
A way for people to transfer the ownership of vehicles to other members of the Custodian platform, whether that be a dealer or other enthusiast.
A way to share a ‘secret URL’ to an email address which can then view the car without a Custodian account.
There is a fair bit of complexity in ‘how’ much data gets shared in all three of the above cases and implementing all of that granularity without making it very complicated for users will be quite a challenge (Facebook permissions is an example of that being done badly). The first version we make of each feature will likely have a default level of privacy which we will be clear about, with a more granular permissions system added on top for those who know exactly what they want to be transferred in future.

I’ll merge this into the main roadmap item for the ‘secret URL’ sharing functionality as I believe this is likely the closest roadmap item to your suggestion.
