MOT Bug#183

Unable to add a short decription or change title to an imported MOT if i want to make a note of work done before/ on day of MOT.

Also, Can’t add the cost of the MOT to the overall Vehicle

Thank you for reporting this, we really appreciate it :)

We’ve added this to our systems and will make it so people can edit these fields. Especially for adding the MOT costs in. I’ll update this when its done :)

Just as a note I would personally recommend not adding records for surrouding services to the MOT and instead put them as separate entries.

I only suggest this as it may work better with some of our upcoming AI features which will look for information in your history file entries by type when looking for certain information, and given MOT’s are tests… it may be less likely to check in there vs say a service.

Thats how i manage it anyway… I keep the service work in a separate entry on the same day as my MOT. It also works more nicely if you have a fail - fix - pass flow… as you can then see it in the timeline nicely :)

You can do what you like though and we will look to make these fields editable.
